Woah, learn from the mistake - slapping stuff on your face left you in this state, and you want to pile more on? Stop a moment and think.

Your skin is a finely balanced system. At the moment it's going through hell - you've got hormones all over the place, it's spewing sebum in desperation, trying to sort itself out. Stop trying to help it with harsh chemicals and let it be.

Wash your face in the morning and again at night. Pat it dry with a towel. Don't squeeze spots, don't put on make up. Respect your skin and let it sort itself out.5 months ago got a burn on my face from acne cream now i have red marks on my cheeks, any products to red?
Obviously Mimsy S has never suffered from acne. Anyway,

talk to your dermatologist. Some of these creams will make your skin red. They are working to gradually get rid of top skin layers to unclog badly clogged pores. You also might be using too much. Are you following the instructions? Sometimes we get impatient and want it to work too fast and apply it too often or put on too much. Your doc can help. Use a mild non-oily moisturizer if your face is getting too dry and red. And stay out of the sun while using and don't use hot water, but warm when washing. Use a transparent anti-bacterial soap on your face or even wash with that clear anti-bacterial gel they sell to wash hands with when water isn't handy. Use it like soap. My son used to apply a prescription cream called Duac, morning and night. He used Walmart's transparent blue colored anti-bacterial shower gel. Helped the acne on his back as well. And try and avoid white sugar, white flour and sodas/candy that will spike hormone levels and cause more acne. Eat healthy : fruits, veggies, hormone-free lean meats, and no-added sugar, juices.
that happened to me once too! i was allergic to some acne cream and it made my face super hot and red for like 3 days. what i did on the first day was placing ice over it, that night i put on a very cooling aloe mask for 20 mins. and i wear nothing on my face the next day.

soon it just goes away, but make sure to NOT apply anymore of that cream :D

and sometimes it red, bc ur blushing too?
