Why call it body butter not cream or lotion? Specific proportions/ratios of ingredients? How do you scent the product with essential oils?What makes a product body ';butter'; instead of ';cream'; or ';lotion';?
Most creams have some liquid base (mineral oils it's cheap)


a butter base is a shea, cocoa or more natural item better for you, and your skin although it is a thicker mix. (generally you find these things in a round container)

It is thicker
It is much much thicker. It's usually made with some sort of shea butter as well. It is more difficult to rub in and usually comes in a jar because it is too thick to dispense out of a pump.
