Try a baby wipe or dampen the area sprinkle on some Borax and gently rub in with fingers leave to dry then hoover up.White vinegar mixed with 4 parts water is good too.What is the best product to remove make up stains from cream carpet?

I have used this product to remove many makeup spills on my beige Berber carpet. The key to prevent smearing is to blot the surface, do not rub back %26amp; forth or the stain will smear. (experience on the rubbing/scrubbing problem)

I don't know if this specifically works on makeup but it has worked on old stains on a light grey carpet that were there when we bought our house and it also works on cat barf stains and coffee. It's called ';Blue Magic'; and it is sold in a spray can in the automotive department where they sell the Turtle Wax and all that stuff. You spray it on, leave it for a couple minutes and then blot with a paper towel. Don't scrub! Just keep blotting (hold paper towel down until liquid is absorbed). If stain is still there repeat process only leaving the solution on longer before blotting.
