there are a few options available, but they are soy based. they are healthier than the dairy alternative, but do not always taste the same. go shopping at a specialty store like Wild Oats or Whole Foods. buy some foods and learn what you like best. it will be a challenge, but can be fun.I am lactose intolerante, are there any substitutes for dairy products such as cream cheese?
I am lactose too, have you ever thought about getting a pill to treat it? You can even get 1 perscribed its stronger than the ones you can buy at the storeI am lactose intolerante, are there any substitutes for dairy products such as cream cheese?
I answered a similar question recently, I copy that answer here for you in the hope that it might give you some assistance -
This is not good news I regret. If you are used to the taste of cow鈥檚 milk, it may take a while to get accustomed to a milk that does not come from them.
Goat Milk: Does not contain the allergenic casein protein alpha-S1. Has slightly less lactose than cow milk, but not enough to make much of a difference. May be used for cooking and possibly on cereal. This is probably not a choice as it does contain lactose.
Coconut milk: 1/2 canned coconut milk, 1/2 water, adjust to taste. Can be used in many recipes that call for milk. Lactose free.
Soy 鈥?is 鈥?Poison see - http://www.soytoy.com/soydanger.html - keep away from it!
Rice milk: Can be used for cooking and cereal. Lactose free.
Oat Milk: Can be used for cooking and cereal. May use honey as sweetener). Lactose free.
Potato milk: May not work for cooking. Lactose free.
And last, but by no means least, there is Human Milk. Which is extremely healthy, recommended for all children for at least the first 6 months of life. It is beautifully packaged and no other milk-like substance should be used to replace this, (for babies) with the possible exception of baby formula.
Hope this helps

there are lots of soy products out there now it has its own section though its a bit pricer, http://www.soyproducts.com/ this is where i shop
There are some substitutes, but they do not taste great. Just have the dairy with a lactaid tab and you will be fine. It will taste better and it will also cost less (those substitutes tend to be costly)
YES, THE LACTOSE FREE ONES
